MV Solitude One (52m long) once again redefines quality service and professionalism in diving hospitality, and incorporates the latest on‐board technology for safety and diving.

The liveaboard is a beautiful Yacht, a platform for the restless modern-day adventurers who want to get a glimpse of the underwater beauty of Palau and the Philippines.

The huge dimensions of this Palau liveaboard mean that you will never feel cramped and everything has a bright and roomy feeling.

The Cabins and en-suite bathrooms are larger than most liveaboards and the Saloon, outdoor shaded areas and Sun Deck also enjoy an impressive amount of space. If you want to be sociable you can, but equally if you want to find a quiet spot for a bit of solitude, then that is always possible too.

OUR CABINS

The cabins all have a flat screen TV with USB media support (so you can enjoy your own entertainment) and a networked system so you can access the library of movies and TV shows. The electrical sockets are universal and have USB charging ports. Taller guests, for whom liveaboard boats can sometimes be (quite literally) a headache, literally, will appreciate the added headroom throughout and the extra-long mattresses.

AMENITIES

Features that Photographers will love include 2 camera rinse tanks, air gun and special towels for cameras, plus of course the complete Digital Studio with computer stations and power surge protection.

On the very top of this Palau Liveaboard is a comfortable Sun-deck for those needing a dose of vitamin D and a breath of sea air. At the end of the day there is also a jacuzzi to relax in with a drink of your choice.

FOOD ON BOARD

There’s an outdoor Dining Area where carefully planned meals are designed to enhance your experience during the voyage. There is something for everyone on offer, but the Chef is also able to cater for any special dietary requirements if given sufficient notice.

MOST RELEVANT INFORMATION

• The trip begins in Puerto Princesa and ends in Puerto Princesa
• The closest airport is Puerto Princesa (PPS)
• Pickup time at the airport is around 14:00. Give yourself enough time to go through immigration and pickup your bags.
• If you are there before your trip, please organize your own transfer to embarkation point or to the airport
• A representative of the Liveaboard will be waiting for you at the Puerto Princesa Domestic Airport Terminal

EMBARKATION AND DEPARTURE

• You can check in on the boat as of 14:00
• The boat departs Puerto Princesa in the afternoon on the same day
• The vessel is equipped with US power sockets, Power socket adapters
• Accepted payment methods on board: Cash (USD), Cash (local currency)
• DIN/INT adaptors are available on board
• Towels and soap are included

ARRIVAL AND DISEMBARKATION

• Your last dives will be on the second to last day in the evening
• It is your responsibility to ensure you respect the 24 hour no-fly time after your last dive!
• The boat docks back in Puerto Princesa in the evening on the 2^nd to last day
• Check out and disembarkation is around 09:30 on the last day.

EXTRA INFORMATION

• The harbour where Solitude One will be embarking and disembarking is the Baywalk area.
• For guests that are arriving earlier then 14:00 hrs the meeting point is "Acacia Tree Garden Hotel".  
• The crew will arrive just after 14:00 hrs at the Hotel to pick up every guest that has been listed to meet there.

ITINERARY GENERAL INFORMATION

• Approx. 16 – 18 dives
• Level requered: Open Water
• A renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site
• Tubbataha is well known for its stunning reefscapes, dizzying amount of reef life, and amazing visibility.
• Walls and drop offs – perfect for some big fish action.
• Tubbataha is only accessible via liveaboard, there is virtually no land in sight
• The marine park rangers patrol the Tubbataha's waters to keep the dive destination as pristine as possible.
• Chance to visit the Ranger Station
• Manta Rays, White Tips, Turtle, Frogfish, Pipefish, Nudibranchs, Flamboyant Cuttlefish, Mandarin Fish, Whale Sharks
• 3 to 4 dives per day including night dives
• Dive sites will be scheduled based on tides/currents

TRAVEL PROGRAM

DAY 1

• Safety Briefing, Crew Introduction, Necessary Dive Paperwork, Cabin allocation and ship orientation will take place before departing the Harbour.
• During the journey to our first dive site for a check dive, please take this opportunity to familiarize yourselves with the vessel and make yourself comfortable.
• Please Note: This is a sample itinerary and nº of dives, dive sites, etc. may be subject to change due to weather conditions and other unforseeable factors

DAY 2 - 3

Few days diving North & South Atoll

• Dive sites will be scheduled base on tides/currents as well as communicating with other liveaboards that are in the vicinity to avoid overcrowding a particular dive site.

Delsan Wreck - South Atoll

• Laying in of water, this wreckage attracts schools of snappers & sweetlips, as well as eagle rays and plenty of sharks.
• White tips, black tips and grey reef sharks can all be seen feeding here. During our trips we often dive here twice as the marine life is simply fantastic.

Black Rock, Tubbataha Reef

• There is so much to explore at this dive site that we will often spend the whole day diving here. Schools of surgeon fish, rainbow runners and sweetlips are a common sight, White tip and nurse sharks are found resting.

Washing Machine - North Atoll

• The reef slopes to 12m then drops into the abyss, not for the feint hearted, Washing machine is known for its strong and sometimes unpredictable currents, however with them come the sharks and manta rays. Grey reef and white tips are amongst the common sightings and the occasional hammerhead.

Donato’s Wall, Tubbataha Reef

• Adorned with stunning sea fans and colourful soft corals, Donato’s wall is super for wide-angle photography.

Malayan, Tubbataha Reef

• A super site to focus on macro, numerous shrimps and crabs can be found amongst the corals, whilst many types of nudibranch and sea slug are also found on and around the wreckage.

DAYS 4 - 5

• Few days diving North Atoll & Jessie Beazley Reef

DAY 6

• 2 or 3 dives
• After the scheduled final night dive in Jessie Beazley Reef, Solitude One will get underway towards Puerto Princessa (estimated time of travel is 9 Hours)

CANCELLATION POLICY

What if I need to cancel my booking?

Your reservation request is obligation free and you can cancel anytime within the first 72 hours. During this time you can easily find matching flights and get answers from our reservations team to any further questions you may have. After you have confirmed and paid for your reservation, the following cancellation policy applies:

• 300 days or More 5% of Total cruise fare or 0% if credited for rebooking
• 60 days to 299 days 30% of Total cruise fare or 10% if credited for rebooking
• 59 Days or Less including No Show 100% of Total cruise fare

In case of cancellation the refund will be transferred to your bank account, credit card or paypal account within 10 business days

BEFORE TRAVELLING

• Make sure you meet the country's requirements corresponding to your nationality
• Make sure your passport is valid at least six months after the date you plan to visit the country
• Diving insurance is mandatory for divers of all ages on all of our trips: bring your certificate as proof
• It is strongly recommended to have travel insurance that is appropriate for the type of diving holidays you are going to do
• Check the electrical standards (such as which plugs are used) in your destination country before travelling and bring the appropriate adaptor if necessary.
• The itinerary and the number of dives are indicative and are subject to weather conditions and conditions: safety is always first
• All divers must provide their diving certification card
• Diving computers are compulsory
• Local rates, fuel surcharges, distance rates, port fees, etc. may change without notice due to changes in government policy, changes in the price of oil, etc. The changes are beyond our control and the increases must be paid if the boat requests them. We will endeavor to inform you of any changes as soon as possible. A change in these rates does not entitle you to cancel the trip.
